How agents-governance is published
agents-governance is the public canonical AI governance source for the smtp.eth / fuzzywigg ecosystem. The door is the GitHub repo itself — markdown files, a docs/ tree, and CI on the repo. There is no hosted docs site (GitHub Pages for this path is 404).
Pipeline verified 2026-08-17
Pipeline
Publish by editing markdown in the public repo and merging to main. Downstream projects reference it from AGENTS.md via parent_governance: "github.com/fuzzywigg/agents-governance". Optional CI: link-check and markdown-lint workflows. This hub does not host or deploy the governance docs.
Allowed captures
Two honest public GitHub crops only — README blob (title + Documents table) and the docs/ file tree (agent-hydration.md, issue-backlog.md). No family UI, no secrets, no stolen X, no invented hosted MkDocs.

Host and cache
- Host: public GitHub repository fuzzywigg/agents-governance (private:false). Not deployed as GitHub Pages or MkDocs — fuzzywigg.github.io/agents-governance returned HTTP 404 (verified 2026-08-17).
- Primary artifacts: AGENTS-ECOSYSTEM.md (ecosystem-wide governance), templates/AGENTS-REPO.md (legacy per-project template), docs/agent-hydration.md, docs/issue-backlog.md, plus AGENTS.md / CLAUDE.md / SECURITY.md / CONTRIBUTING.md in-repo.
- Downstream reference pattern (from public README): parent_governance: "github.com/fuzzywigg/agents-governance". Installation section states there is no package to install — document source only.
- CI on the repo: .github/workflows/link-check.yml and markdown-lint.yml. Badge pass/fail in screenshots is a capture moment, not an evergreen green-CI claim.
- Related public repo linked from README: fuzzywigg/agents-standard. Private items named in README (project-template, claw-mcp) are not linked here.
- Repo description (GitHub About): “Canonical AI governance documents for smtp.eth ecosystem. Fork this repo for project-specific governance.” License: MIT.
What is live vs static
| Source | Live or static | Card |
|---|---|---|
| Public GitHub markdown (README, AGENTS-ECOSYSTEM.md, docs/) | Static docs in-repo | Canonical governance source |
| GitHub Actions (link-check, markdown-lint) | CI on the repo | Not a hosted worker on this hub |
| GitHub Pages / MkDocs / docs.ourskylight | Not present (Pages path 404) | Do not invent a hosted docs door |
| Private project-template / claw-mcp | Named in README; not linked here | Out of scope for this HOW |
